Welcome to the MeHeLP India
dissemination conference!

As MeHeLP India project is reaching its closing, we invite you to take part in our final dissemination conference. Through the three years of MeHeLP project, under difficult circumstances due the COVID pandemic, we have been able to engage with urban, rural and tribal communities in Kerala and across India. Our project contributed to fearless talk on developing culturally appropriate mental health literacies using interdisciplinary and creative arts-based approaches.

Conference objectives

To consider how creative methodologies and other participative arts-based approaches can promote mental health literacies programme

To explore how public mental health and mental health literacy programmes can best be supported and developed, in ways that are practical, acceptable and appropriate.

To disseminate culturally appropriate mental health literacy perspectives from Kerala and the rest of India

To consider implications for research, policy and practice in developing mental health literacies in urban, rural and tribal India

Who is the online conference for ?

This conference is aimed at medical, health and social care practitioners, service providers, health and social care researchers including academics, psychiatrists, psychologists, community workers, social workers and students. It is also for policy makers, policy implementers, NGOs, employers, corporate and social responsibility (CSR) sector.
